Bruce Jordan, President
Mr. Jordan is the President of Midtown Partners & Co., LLC. He has been engaged in the investment banking, investment advisory and securities business for over 25 years. Mr. Jordan’s career began as a research analyst, most notably at Merrill Lynch. He progressed to marketing equity research and investment banking products to large institutional clients in the Northeast.

During the nineties, Mr. Jordan returned to research and professionally managed equity investments including being responsible for more than $100 million of discretionary assets and non-discretionary assets of nearly $1 billion. His investment returns consistently ranked him in the top quartile of investment managers.

Mr. Jordan furthered his experiences at the end of the nineties as he joined a local investment bank to develop its investment banking capabilities and proprietary research products. He was responsible for public and private financing of emerging companies principally related to the Internet, biotechnology, medical devices, telecommunications and computer technology. He was also responsible for consulting with corporate clients on the management of their communications with the investment industry.

Mr. Jordan earned a master’s degree from Georgia State University with a major in corporate finance and a bachelor’s degree from Emory University with a major in accounting.

John Clarke, CEO & Managing Director of Investment Banking
Prior to joining Midtown, Mr. Clarke was President and Managing Director of Investment Banking for H.C. Wainwright & Co. During Mr. Clarke’s tenure at Wainwright, the firm became the 3rd and 4th leading U.S. placement agent in number of closed PIPE transactions for the years 2004 and 2005 respectively (source Placementtracker.com). From early 2004, Mr. Clarke served as both the General Securities Principal and the Financial Operations Principal for the firm as well.
Prior to H.C.Wainwright, Mr. Clarke held the position of producing Branch Manager for several NYSE member firms. Since entering the securities industry in 1984, Mr. Clarke has worked with over 100 public companies and assisted in raising in excess of $500 Million in directly placed private capital. In addition, Mr. Clarke has advised private companies in going public via IPO’s and reverse merger process.
Mr. Clarke holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance from the E. Claiborne Robbins School of Finance at the University of Richmond.

J. Rory Rohan, Senior Vice President
Mr. Rohan is a Senior Vice President at Midtown Partners and has been with the firm since December 2004. Prior to joining Midtown Partners, Mr. Rohan was part of a five-person investment banking team at HC Wainwright & Co. The team specialized in structuring private placements for small & micro-cap companies. During Mr. Rohan’s tenure at HC Wainwright, the firm was ranked as high as #3 in terms of most active agents for placing Regulation D financings.

Additionally, Mr. Rohan is co-founder and managing member of Kreger Rohan Capital Management LLC. From 2000 to 2003, Mr. Rohan worked at Thomson Financial. At Thomson, he worked as a capital markets analyst networking with institutional investors and raising capital for large public telecom equipment companies. Prior to joining Thomson, Mr. Rohan worked as a financial analyst for Merrill Lynch Capital Markets Bank in Dublin, Ireland. His primary responsibility entailed updating the Central Bank of Ireland on currency trading/swaption activities executed by Merrill Lynch. Mr. Rohan co-authored Monetary Reform from a Comparative-Theoretical Perspective which appears in the Fall 2004 edition of the Quarterly Journal of Austrian Economics. Mr. Rohan received a B.A. in Economics from Hampden-Sydney College, Hampden-Sydney, Virginia.

Joy M. Melton, Senior Vice President
Prior to joining Midtown partners in 2005, Ms. Melton was a financial advisor for UBS Financial Services, Inc., in New York City. In the private client division, Ms. Melton and her partner raised over $40 million in client assets in one year, and effectively managed over $100 million in assets by implementing strategies to help clients grow, preserve and transfer their wealth. Before her career at UBS, Ms. Melton spent nine years at a privately-held manufacturing firm in New Jersey where she held the position of Executive Vice President. Ms. Melton earned an MBA from Rutgers University Graduate School of Management in Newark, NJ, and a BA in Communications from Rutgers College, Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ.

Barry Botfeld, Senior Vice President
Mr. Botfeld joined the firm in 2008. Mr. Botfeld’s career is marked by 25 years in the securities business as market maker and trader for AG Becker, CJ Lawrence, First Boston and Herzog Heine Geduld. At CJ Lawrence, Mr. Botfeld was part of the unit that introduced and initiated trading for the company. Mr. Botfeld’s attended Queens College in Flushing, NY. His experience lends a unique perspective to Midtown Partners’ investment banking team.

Robert “Bob” Christian, Vice President
Mr. Christian has spent the last 28 years in the investment banking/securities industry. Mr. Christian has been instrumental in the structure and funding of dozens of privately held companies. During the last 8 years he has personally raised over $14 million dollars from individual, corporate, and institutional investors. During that time he has served on the board of directors and as director of shareholder services for approximately half of those companies. Mr. Christian brings to Midtown Partners a substantial amount of experience in corporate finance, as well as valuable relationships with other broker/dealers, offshore funding sources, individuals and institutions.

Prior to the securities business, Mr. Christian worked for IBM where he held several marketing positions including Senior Account Executive. Mr. Christian received many IBM achievement awards in addition to a Federal Defense Marketing position. Mr. Christian graduated from Auburn University with a BS in Business Administration.


David Siegel, Vice President
Mr. Siegel joined Midtown Partners as a Vice President, in 2007. He spent the previous 26 years in the securities and investment banking industry where he worked at some of the most prestigious investment banking boutiques on Wall Street including Lehman Brothers, L.F. Rothschild, Drexel Burnham and Oppenheimer and Company. After moving to Florida he became a Sales Manager with GKN Securities where he was instrumental in helping to develop the SPAC product that is so popular on Wall Street today. He also became quite well known in South Florida for his charity work. As a board member of “No Small Affair,” he worked with both the Florida Marlins and Miami Heat to take thousands of underprivileged children to both baseball and basketball games. He was honored by throwing out the first pitch at a Marlins baseball game and received a plaque at the halftime of a Miami Heat playoff game.


Rory McAdam, Vice President
Mr. McAdam joined the firm in 2007. He has been involved in many areas of the finance industry including syndicate trading, investment advisory and investment banking and has been employed by Oppenheimer, Merrill Lynch and Ryan Beck. Prior to joining Midtown Partners Mr. McAdam was a Managing Director at Magna Securities in charge of their syndicate trading desk and originating transactions. Mr. McAdam received a M.B.A from American International College and a B.A from State University of New York at Geneseo.

Prakash Mandgi, Vice President
Mr. Madgi has strong interests in medical devices especially cardiac electrophysiology, biological materials, medical imaging and biotechnology. He graduated with a masters of science in biomedical engineering from Case Western Reserve in 1995 and completed his master's thesis in the field of cardiac electrophysiology at the Heart & Vascular Research Center. He also graduated with a bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering from Bombay University in 1990. Mr. Mandgi modeled the firing sequence for an ultrasound digital scan converter at Bhabha Atomic Research Center (BARC) for his bachelor’s thesis. Graduated with an MBA from the University of Chicago (Finance, Analytical Finance, Accounting) in Dec 2004. Mr. Mandgi obtained the Professional Risk Manager (PRM) designation in 2007 and is a Level II candidate for CFA program.

Britt Christian, Associate
Mr. Christian joined Midtown Partners as an Associate in February, 2006. Mr. Christian brings to the firm a strong accounting background. He has worked for various firms including Citizens & Southern Bank where his responsibilities included reconciling 250 branch offices; Aaron Rents where he was responsible for reconciling 150 sales ledgers for retail store operations; Worldspan where he worked as a Property Accountant, and The Russell Corporation, just to name a few. Mr. Christian earned a BBA in Finance at West Georgia College in Carrollton, Georgia.

Jim Hitchcock, Associate
Mr. Hitchcock brings to Midtown Partners twenty-four years of experience in creating and managing early stage companies. Most recently, as President of Sun Mountain Enterprises, Inc., he has represented high net worth individuals in the placement and handling of real estate and retail investments. Prior to this, Mr. Hitchcock held executive positions in start up ventures, including Silver Screen Partners, CIDEX International and Artnet.com. His roles have required financial control of both private and publicly held organizations. Mr. Hitchcock’s extensive hands-on experience directing all phases of corporate development has provided him a broad understanding of the funding needs and organizational challenges of emerging and growth businesses. Mr. Hitchcock received a BA in Communications from Hunter College in New York City and holds a Florida real estate broker’s license and a private pilot’s license.


William Relyea, Director of Research
Mr. Relyea joined the firm in 2008. Previously he held the position of Director of Research at H.C. Wainwright & Co. As an analyst he was named to the Institutional Investor Magazine All-American Research Team twelve times, in the area of imaging technology. Mr. Relyea has investment banking experience with public and private companies in a variety of industries including: clean tech and alternate energy, (initiated $117mm IPO), imaging technologies, electronics, medical devices and medical technology His international experience includes heading an electricals group for Jardine Fleming in Tokyo, research on Japanese companies, Korean companies and Israeli companies. He published research in a variety of industry sectors including: imaging technologies, alternate energy and clean tech, electronics and composite materials. Mr. Relyea is a member of the PR Newswire-Disclosure Advisory Board. He received his MBA in finance from Cornell University and has a bachelor’s of science in physics, also from Cornell.
